Most of the time people think rock climbing is for the thrill seeking extraordinaire, but some local neighbors will tell you it's for everyone.

"You don't have to be a rock climber to enjoy this sport. If you can climb a ladder you can climb our facility," said Andrew Potter, co-owner of RoKC.

More people are rock climbing than ever before. Last year more than 4.6 million people took part in rock climbing.

Rock climbing facilities are starting to pop up across Kansas City, and the newest location is in North Kansas City.

On Tuesday night, local climber and author Jeremy Collins will be unveiling his new book, "Mo'Beta," at RoKC. The event starts at 7 p.m. For more information click here.
