KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Police in Roeland Park, Kansas gave back Friday morning after spotting a Craigslist post from a mother in need.
Roeland Park Police Chief John Morris and his officers were on Craigslist Friday and spotted a post from a Roeland Park mom who said she was struggling to feed her two small children, who are 2 years old, and 3 weeks old.
Morris and his officers swung by the Sun Fresh grocery store on 18th Street Expressway a few miles north in Kansas City, Kansas and picked up a trunkful of groceries.
Officers then delivered the groceries to the mother.
