KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Roughly 4,000 Evergy customers were without power as storms moved through the Kansas City metro on Saturday.
An Evergy spokesperson said that an issue with a breaker at a sub station caused the outage for just under 4,000 customers.
As of 5:30 p.m. linemen were en route.
By 6 p.m., less than 200 customers were affected.
