KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The co-owner of Schlitterbahn Waterpark indicted last month with second-degree murder is heading toward Wyandotte County.
Sources confirm to 41 Action News that Jeff Henry, co-owner of the company that owns Schlitterbahn Waterpark in KCK and the company that designed Verruckt, is en route toward KCK from southern Texas.
Henry was taken into custody last week by U.S. Marshals. He’s scheduled to appear before a Wyandotte County judge on Thursday.
Henry and fellow Schlitterbahn employee John Schooley were indicted for reckless second degree murder in the 2016 death of Caleb Schwab while ridding Verruckt.
Schooley was taken into custody Tuesday at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport by U.S. Marshals. Schooley was returning to the United States from China.
