KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Another storm is approaching the Kansas City metro. This time it should be too warm for snow. Temperatures are still below freezing so some light precipitation will still likely cause some tricky slick spots.
The next disturbance:
- 3 - 8 a.m.: Very light, freezing drizzle or light snow flurries are possible. There will be some slick spots until the temperature rises to 33 degrees.
- 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.: A band of rain, freezing rain and sleet will approach our area from the southwest. Right now, the best chance of this affecting our viewing area appears that it will be south of Kansas City.
- After 2 p.m.: Temperatures rising above freezing!!!
The Wednesday night into Thursday storm looks just wet with some rain.
