OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Police are working to find out who fired shots outside a McDonald's in Overland Park.

It happened at the restaurant at West 95th Street and Quivira Road.

Police said they never found a victim or a suspect, but found multiple shell casings in the parking lot outside the store.

Later Friday, police provided an update to 41 Action News.

Overland Park Ofc. John Lacy said witnesses reported seeing three or four men in a Dodge Ram truck firing rounds at another vehicle in the parking lot.

Lacy said there were no known injuries as a result of the shooting, but police did send a message to local hospitals to be on the lookout.

The investigation is ongoing.
