KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City-area ski resort will open for the season on Friday.
Officials at Snow Creek, in Weston, expect all trails except for Pony Express to be open. In a news release, the ski resort said "snow makers have been hard at work getting snow on the ground."
Hours this weekend are as follows:
- 3:30-10 p.m., Friday, Dec. 20
- 9 a.m.-10 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 21
- 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 22
Holiday hours will begin on Monday.
