KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 29-year-old man is facing criminal charges for stabbing his dad with a sword Wednesday night in Raytown, Missouri.
Jackson County prosecutors Thursday charged Christopher Wilson with first degree assault and armed criminal action in connection to the stabbing, which occurred just before 11 p.m. in the 10800 block of Gregory Lane.
When officers arrived, they located a victim face down in the kitchen of the house.
The victim, later identified as Wilson’s father, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of multiple stab wounds.
Court documents detail an alleged altercation between the father and son at the house.
