KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Nearly two years after opening, Black Dirt, located in the south Plaza neighborhood, announced it will close in November.
In a Facebook post Thursday, the restaurant, owned by former Justus Drugstore owner Jonathan Justus, said its last day will be Thursday, Nov. 7.
The post said the restaurant, located at 5070 Main Street, will be “reimagined into a new and exciting restaurant” with new operators.
In an interview on the Chew Diligence Podcast in September 2018 Justus talked about the concept behind the restaurant.
