KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A possible threat overheard Thursday at Success Academy in Kansas City, Missouri, led to a police response that ended with a student arrested after a foot chase.
According to a Kansas City Public Schools spokesperson, around noon Thursday, someone overheard a group of students having a conversation that included a possible threat.
The school, located at 1601 Forest Ave., was briefly placed on lock down until officials confirmed there was no threat.
