Suspect charged in Calab Pentlin's murder

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Davon Wilson has been charged in Wyandotte County court for the July 3 murder of Calab Pentlin.

Police found Pentlin, 20, with a gunshot wound in a parked car last week around 8:30 p.m. near Richmond Avenue and North First Street in Kansas City, Kansas. He was transported to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Wilson, 20, has been charged with second-degree murder, criminal possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of marijuana. His bond has been set at $100,000.
