A suspect wanted for assault was taken into custody after leading police on a car chase through the Kansas City Metro.
According to reports, the chase started around 12:40 a.m. near 18th and State Avenue.
Police say the suspect fled into KCMO near 12th and Hickory, then turned around and headed back into KCK.
According to police, the chase ended in a minor crash around 12:50 a.m. near Coy Street and Pacific Avenue.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect was taken into custody.
