The Clay County Sheriff's Department says Dale Lee Parsons, 35, stole items from several area residents while they were at funeral visitations.

Deputies say a burglary was reported on Nov. 24 on Nebo Hills Road in Liberty and two handguns were stolen.

Another burglary was reported in the 12000 block of Lobel Lane on Nov. 19, and credit cards were stolen while the residents were at a funeral visitation.

A third burglary was reported on Nov. 27th on NW 144th Street, where jewelry and a Glock handgun were stolen.

One of the residents has a security camera, and deputies tracked the dark Ford F 150 to Dale Parsons. Deputies discovered a backpack, prybar and gloves.

They also discovered surveillance video of Parsons using stolen credit cards, and selling jewelry to a pawn shop.

Parsons was previously convicted on a felony charge from Clay County in June of 2011.

He is still on the loose. Anyone who knows his whereabouts is encouraged to call the sheriff's department.
