As a successful business woman and marketing genius one Harvard graduate is making it her mission to help minority-owned business owners succeed.

LaDetra White calls herself the "Ambush Queen." She is on her own "Put Your Money Where Your Heart Is" tour. Her plan is to surprise small businesses owners in hopes of mentoring them to greater success.

In the Kansas City metro, 13 local business owners applied for her program. Chris Goode, the owner of Ruby Jean's Juicery won.

"I'm excited to have mentors and financial support. We're full right now. It's a blessing," said Goode.

White uses her money, marketing expertise and social media followers to help minority-owned businesses succeed. She has successfully executed 10 small business ambushes on Facebook Live and has taken on as many new mentees.

"The idea here is to show us helping one another, getting involved, getting engaged. Truly at the end of the day, it's about having a really good product that's priced right, that people know about," said White.

White broadcasts her ambushes live on Facebook and encourages followers to patronize the businesses in addition to her hands on mentoring and financial investment.

White returned to Atlanta on Saturday afternoon where she will soon reveal the location of her next "Small Business Ambush".
