KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Despite snow-packed roads and slippery hills, 12,500 Blake Shelton fans battled their way to downtown Kansas City.
The country music artist held a concert at the Sprint Center Friday night.
"We came down early because a lot of the roads are slick and closed and traffic so we decided to play it safe," said Jeannine Ziegler.
She and her grandson traveled more than two hours for the concert.
While it typically takes Lisa Henry 10 minutes to get to the Sprint Center. It took her about an hour Friday night.
"It was a lot harder to get here," she said.
When asked if she reconsidered going due to the weather, Henry said, "No, heck no... not for Blake.
According to the Sprint Center, artists make the decision regarding concert cancellations.
