Two people assaulted exiting bus in downtown KCMO

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two people were assaulted Monday night after getting off a Kansas City Area Transit Authority bus in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.

The first assault victim was attacked at E. 13th Street and McGee Street.

The second victim was found in the street at 13th Street and Grand Boulevard. He suffered a laceration to the back of the head, but is expected to live.

KCPD officers arrested two men at 16th Street and Grand Boulevard on a KCATA bus.
