KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The gymnasts at Eagles Gymnastics in Kansas City, Missouri, are working hard to someday be Olympians.

While they are not at the national level just yet, they will likely be inspired by their favorite gymnasts at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships at the Sprint Center this weekend.

"Just watching them and how far they have gone, it really makes me want to push myself further to be that good," Madison Chavez said.

"It's really inspiring to watch them because we see videos on YouTube and their practice videos on Instagram and Twitter, but actually seeing them in person will be really exciting," Morgan Saxe echoed.

The star athletes help instill confidence in younger kids.

"I feel like they are confident in their selves. So, I know if I am confident in myself, I'll get better and better every day,” Jaylenn Campbell said.

The coaches hope the events inspire girls to be the best they can be.

“These girls take it one step higher and I think they appreciate that and see what they can do if they put their best efforts forward,” Kim Fuchs, owner and head coach at Eagles Gymnastics, said.
