Stan Copple woke up late Tuesday night after his roommate heard gushing water in his basement.
"He woke me up, and we ran downstairs and saw tons of water coming from the toilet. In all, there was more than 500 gallons," said Copple.
Copple told 41 Action News he hired a professional plumber to look at his main, and it's clear. Kansas City Water crews went to check the city main in front of his property and didn't find any blockage.
