Christa's trip to Washington, D.C., that was planned for Monday, has been delayed because congressional votes and activities have been cancelled due to Hurricane Irma.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- In this changing political climate, 41 Action News Anchor Christa Dubill is spending 48 hours in Washington D.C. with two U.S. Congressman from our area: Congressman Emanuel Cleaver (D – Missouri), and Congressman Kevin Yoder (R – Kansas).
In an effort to fair and balanced while pulling back the curtain we’ll show what life is really like for a politician in Washington.
From home life, to constituent meetings, to staff meetings, to hearings, to votes on the House floor, to opening mail from the people they represent - we’ll document most minutes of their professional days (with some personal stuff sprinkled in).
