KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The popular burger joint Whataburger is one step closer to coming to the KC metro area.
In a tweet Thursday afternoon, the City of Overland Park released development plans submitted by the company.

The restaurant would be located at 8420 W. 135th St.
In August, the restaurant announced it would expand to the KC metro, however there is still no timeline on when the locations will open.
