Commissioner Rob Manfred said the league is suspending Spring Training underway in Florida and Arizona as of 3 p.m. Thursday.
Additionally, the league will delay opening day by at least two weeks. For the Kansas City Royals, opening day was originally set for Thursday, March 26 against the Chicago White Sox.
