LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo. — Aerial arts is a form of dancing in the air, supported by some sort of apparatus.
Cloud Nine Aerial Arts opened in Lee's Summit in 2017 and offers classes for ages 6 and up. The classes can be used for strengthening, toning, dancing, fitness — and just pure fun.
When visitors enter the building, they will be immediately taken aback by the beautiful colors of fabric hanging from the ceiling.
Beginner aerial classes are offered Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays and cost $25 per person for a single class or $130 for seven classes.
There are also options for group classes starting at $160 for up to six people.
Classes are one hour each.
There are trainers for all skill levels, and they welcome anyone of all strength and fitness levels to give the aerial arts a try.
