UPDATE: The phones in Johnson County Government offices are working after an outage Thursday morning. 

According to Johnson County officials, the cause of teh outage is being investigated and has not yet been determined. 

ORIGINAL STORY: Johnson County Government offices are experiencing a phone outage Thursday morning.

According to the Johnson County Manager’s Office, the caller is put into the queue, but staff members are unable to login to the call center to retrieve the call.

The outage affects the following departments:

  • Main public phone
  • Public Health, WIC Program
  • Transit
  • Treasurer, Motor Vehicle
  • Parks and Recreation
  • Records and Tax
  • Mental health
  • Wastewater
  • Library
  • Human Services
  • Elections
  • Support Center
  • Court Trustee
  • Court Clerk
  • Helpdesk
  • Appraiser

Johnson County officials say they are working to resolve the problem.
