Silver Alert ends as missing KCK man is found

UPDATE: Kansas City, Kansas, police report that Joe Moreno was found and is safe. The alert has ended.

PREVIOUS: KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Silver Alert was issued Tuesday night for a missing Kansas City, Ks., man.

Police asked for the public's help to find 80-year-old Joe Moreno, according to a police department news release.

Mr. Moreno was last seen about 7 p.m. Monday in the neighborhood near his home in the 2900 block of South 51st Street.

He wore Army green sweatpants and a T-shirt.

Mr. Moreno is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs between 170 and 180 pounds.

He has gray hair and brown eyes.

Police stated Mr. Moreno may be driving a white, 2002 Chevrolet Blazer with a Kansas handicapped license plate.

The license plate number is 63201.

He suffers from dementia and another illness that require round-the-clock medical treatment and attention.

Anyone with information about Joe Moreno should call 911.
