The American Red Cross is assisting two adults and three children following a duplex fire in Overland Park tonight.
No injuries were reported in the fire, which was reported at 8 p.m. Sunday on the 7800 block of W. 61st Terrace.
Firefighters discovered a small fire on a sofa in the basement of the duplex. Damage was contained to the basement, as the fire did not spread.
The Overland Park Fire Department is investigating the fire.
