A shoplifting incident at the Kohl’s on 39th Street in Independence, Mo., led to a police chase that ended on I-29 near I-635 around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The chase began at 3:54 p.m. following a shoplifting call at Kohl’s.
A vehicle description was given to police.
A short time later, an officer recognized the suspect vehicle. The chase began shortly after that.
The chase ended around a half hour later. No one was injured.
Two people from the suspect vehicle were taken into custody.
