The Independence Police Department is investigating a suspicious death in reference to a body found early Friday morning.
Police have identified the victim as 55-year-old Charles Younger, of Independence.
According to the news release, around 11:05 a.m. Friday, Independence police were contacted about a deceased person located in a home in the 15100 block of E. Truman Road in Independence, Mo.
Police stated the incident is being investigated as suspicious death.
At this time police have not released a cause of death.
