Citizens of Kansas came together on Saturday to ask questions of representative Stephanie Clayton.

"All of the sudden things that seem very subtle and unimportant at the time have snowballed into issues," said Kansas citizen Jane Sigler.

In less than two weeks, representative Clayton and others will head back to Topeka for a special session.

One option to fix school funding -- pull money from other parts of the Kansas budget.

"The biggest issue is finding areas in the budget to cut. We do have some areas where we can actually find efficiencies," said Clayton.

Part of the issue is making sure people living in Kansas are educated on the issues so a solution can be found.

"I don't think that everyone knows all of the major intricacies. I am just hearing a lot of concern because people want to make sure that the government is functioning," said Clayton.
