One person died after a single-vehicle crash on Friday in Leavenworth, Kansas.
According to the authorities, a male was driving a 2012 Toyota Scion on Jones Meyer Road when he lost control and crashed the car.
The female passenger died on the scene as a result of the crash. She has been identified as Mary Manthe of Leavenworth.
Police say the driver of the vehicle, David Folks-Manthe, also of Leavenworth, was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
The Platte County Sheriff’s Office Crash Team is investigating the cause of the accident.
