A Kansas City man died after a car accident in Cass County early Monday morning.
According to police, 55-year-old Randy Hodges was traveling southbound on I-49 when he drove his car off the right side of the road, went airborne, struck a bridge pillar and then caught fire.
Authorities say Hodges wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. He died instantly.
Hodges was a resident of KCMO.
