A multi-vehicle wreck is causing problems on Interstate 49 southbound just past Red Bridge Road.
I-49 southbound was temporarily closed due to the wreck.
Kansas City police confirmed one person was seriously injured in the wreck.
It caused a traffic back-up from the Hickman Mills area to the Grandview Triangle.
