Monte Morris scored 21 points, Georges Niang had 19, and No. 14 Iowa State blew past No. 4 Kansas 85-72 on Monday night in Ames, Iowa, for its fourth straight win.

Abdel Nader added 17 points for the Cyclones (16-4, 5-3 Big 12), who have beaten three of the top four teams in this week's Top 25.

Iowa State overcame a sluggish start with a 24-7 run midway through the second half to send the Jayhawks (16-4, 5-3) to their third straight road loss. Perry Ellis had 23 points for Kansas, which has lost four of its past five gainst Iowa State.

"We weren't good enough defensively to win the game in the first half. They changed their mindset in the second half," Iowa State coach Steve Prohm said after watching his team outscore the Jayhawks 49-29 in the final 20 minutes.

"We didn't show much composure when it got hot," Kansas coach Bill Self said. "That was disappointing."

Iowa State also has beaten No. 1 Oklahoma and No. 3 Iowa in Ames this season.

Miami 80, Duke 69: Sheldon McClellan scored 21 points, and Angel Rodriguez had 13 points and 11 assists to lead the No. 15 Hurricanes (16-3, 5-2 Atlantic Coast) past the visiting No. 24 Blue Devils (15-6, 4-4). Duke lost for the fourth time in its past five games.

Rodriguez came into the game 4 for 30 from 3-point range in ACC games but went 3 for 5 from beyond the arc in the first half.
