Baseball is tailor-made for inspiring stories. This one is fantastic. As reported by NBC Nightly News, the new Chicago White Sox play-by-play announcer "is giving fans a new voice to root for in the broadcast booth."
Veteran voice Hawk Harrelson is cutting back his schedule,so Jason Benetti is at bat. The 32-year-old has cerebral palsy, and had to fight assumptions and being underestimated his whole life.
Now he has the job he dreamed of as a kid. Oh, and he has a law degree.
