To vote, pick one MLB player from each league and each position.
If you don’t see your favorite player listed, you can also write them in. According to mlb.com, Royals catcher Salvador Perez is in the lead as the top American League vote-getter, racking up 2,744,293 votes.
Eric Hosmer is in the lead as first baseman and Omar Infante is in fourth place for the second base.
You can find the complete ranking at mlb.com. Ned Yost of the Royals and Terry Collins of the Mets will help select the pitchers and reserves for the game, but Player Ballot choices will also play a role.
Rosters will be revealed at 7.p.m. EST on July 5 during the Esurance All-Star Selection Show on ESPN. The all-star players batter up on Tuesday, July 12 at Petco Park in San Diego, California.
