A Mill Valley High School student will be representing Kansas in a big way this year during the presidential election.

Nick Nelson, a Mill Valley High School student in Shawnee, is one of 11 other high school students from across the country that will take part in Chase the Race 2016.

Chase the Race 2016 will give Nick and other students the opportunity to play an active role in the U.S. presidential election process by serving as onsite reporters at a number of key political events. Entrants to Chase the Race 2016 were alumni of other Envision programs who submitted video applications and were selected by the public and peers. For a full list of winners, click here.
