RECIPE: Harry's Country Club Moscow Mule

General manager of Harry's Country Club, Kevin Grooms, demonstrates how to make a delicious Moscow Mule.

Moscow Mule
½ ounce ginger simple syrup
1 ½ ounces vodka
2 ounces soda water
¼ lime, cut into two squeezes

  • Coat copper mug with ginger syrup.
  • Combine vodka and soda water in mug, top with ice, and squeeze lime into drink.

To make ginger simple syrup:
2 cups water
2 cups sugar
2 pieces ginger root, peeled and sliced into rounds

  • Boil water and sugar over medium high heat.
  • Add ginger slices and let mixture return to a simmer.
  • Remove from heat and allow to steep 30 minutes.
  • Strain syrup, keep refrigerated up to a month.
