Kansas City man found guilty of first-degree murder outside Overland Park bar

A jury convicted the man accused of murdering a man outside of a Johnson County bar. 

Dale Willis, 34, of Kansas City, Missouri was found guilty of first degree murder and battery in the death of Jurl Carl outside of the Roxy Night club in Overland Park in September 2015.

The 24-year-old from Olathe, Kansas, was an aspiring rapper.

Carl was shot several times after witnesses say he got into a fight with Willis and his brother James. 

James also faces charges in the case.
