Deffenbaugh Industries says it will pick up trash an hour earlier than normal due to expected high temperatures this week.
The company said in a news release that residential pickup times will begin at 6 a.m. rather than the normal 7 a.m. start time.
“This decision is based on our concern for our employee’s safety, health and well-being, acknowledging the very physical activity they are engaged in on a daily basis. We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and support for the safety of our employees,” said Lisa Disbrow, spokeswoman for Deffenbaugh Industries.
The company said the revised schedule is temporary and will last for the remainder of the week.
