Police area asking for the public's help identifying a person caught on security camera stealing packages from an Independence porch.
A homeowner in the 2400 block of South Sterling Avenue looked over his home's surveillance video when a couple of packages weren't there, even though the online tracking system said they'd been dropped off.
The video showed what police describe as a man in his mid-20s carrying the packages off the porch. Police say the suspect has a large star tattoo on his right bicep.
The reported thefts took place back on June 19.
