Morgan Dameron's love for film began as she was growing up in Kansas City. She said that passion has taken her to her current job, working for J.J. Abrams in Los Angeles, and a front row education to film making on the set of the newest Star Wars film.
She has more than memories to keep from the movie.
"There is a character named Poe Dameron. He is the best pilot in the galaxy, and we share the same last name," Dameron said.
Dameron added she realized it when she was proofreading scripts.
"They named a character after me," she laughed. "Now it is on lunch boxes and action figures and all kinds of stuff."
Dameron also has a small role in the film!
"Commodore Meta. Look for me! There is just one shot, and it is towards the end."
