One person died in a three-vehicle crash and police found a shooting victim at the same scene Tuesday night in Kansas City.
The crash happened at East 63rd Street and Prospect Avenue.
Police found the shooting victim in one vehicle and the fatal crash victim in another vehicle.
Police said a red Pontiac was headed south on Prospect at a high rate of speed. Police said the driver had been shot at 54th and Park.
The Pontiac ran a red light and hit a westbound black pickup truck. Police said the truck was pushed into a pole, and the driver died at a local hospital.
The Pontiac continued and hit a green van. The driver in the van refused medical treatment.
Police said the driver of the Pontiac is expected to survive.
