Kansas City Royals pitcher Danny Duffy is on the disabled list for 6 to 8 weeks.
Duffy has an oblique strain after a fall at first base in Sunday's game against the Cleveland Indians.
After announcing the news, Duffy seemed frustrated by the injury and said he was going to try to make it back sooner than expected.
