Going! Going! Gone!

Sure, you can hear those three little words at any auction.

But, at this particular auction taking place at the Kansas City Convention Center, Friday and Saturday, you can be “Gone” in high style.

This is the Mecum Auction.

They travel the country showing off and selling off some pretty sweet rides.

But, they only set up shop in one place, twice a year: Kansas City.

Mecum CEO, Dave Magers, says coming to KC is like a family reunion with so many familiar faces and such a great car culture.

Of the 20,000 patrons coming through the doors the next two days, only about 10 percent will actually do any bidding.

But, everyone will enjoy the auction action and get to see the very best the automotive world has put on the road over the years.

You can find a Santa Claus red muscle car and a Royals blue SUV and everything in between.

So, check that Christmas list!

Of course, if you’re putting one of these hot rods under it, you’ll need a pretty good sized tree.
