KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City-based company is staying open to help those who help others.

TiScrubs makes medical scrubs and ships them all over the country, but the company is going the extra mile for its local customers.

CEO Natalie Busch said the company is offering a 25% discount on all of its scrubs for any medical professionals in the Kansas City area.

"If we can just help them relieve that financial burden a little bit and be there for them and give them a product that they depend on and know they're going to be able to get, that's just really important to us right now," Busch said.

She added that the company took a small hit when the stock market dropped, but business has been steady since then.

"Given the fact that the whole city and the whole country is shut down, it is probably still a pretty good thing," Busch said. "We're pleased that we're just able to maintain right now."

TIScrubs recently launched a KC pride collection in collaboration with Charlie Hustle and local artist Billy P.

The collection was designed with spring sports in mind, including Sporting Kansas City and the Kansas City Royals. Busch hopes they will still get worn, but now as a way to bring the community together.

The 25% discount can be accessed using the coupon code, HelpKC. Busch said it will stay in effect until things start to go back to normal.

"I feel like by doing this and discounting them right now that we're helping out and doing something, doing our part," Busch said.
