Starting June 1, graduating seniors will be able to decorate their vehicles in much the same way they would have been able to decorate their graduation caps and arrive at the drive-in.
The district said that regardless of what social distancing restrictions are in place at the time, no one will be allowed outside of their vehicles during the graduation.
District officials said they still are working out the details of the ceremony, but thanked the theater, the Unified Government of Kansas City, Kansas, and Wyandotte County mayor’s office and the Unified Government Public Health Department for their partnership.
