KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Missouri Gov. Mike Parson will give his daily update on the state's response to the COVID-19 pandemic at 5 p.m. on Friday.
Parson has been providing updates almost daily for the past two weeks amid increased calls for a statewide stay-at-home order.
Earlier this week, the governor said he would give an update on state guidelines Friday, including possibly revisiting the issue of a stay-at-home order.
He said Thursday that it would be difficult to put a "blanket order" in place for the entire state.
On Friday, COVID-19 cases in Missouri surged past 2,100, with 31 deaths reported in the state.
