KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Stay-at-home orders have made it a lot more difficult to adopt a pet. But according to KC Pet Project's, Tori Fugate, the shelter is utilizing new tools to help you bring home a furry friend while staying safe.
Fugate said all of the available animals are in foster care right now, so initial meet-ups are virtual over Zoom. From there, you can schedule an actual meet-up with the pet.
All of the available pets are on the KC Pet Project website.
According to Fugate, one good thing to come out of this pandemic, is that pets are getting adopted fairly quickly.
