KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City Police are searching for clues that will lead them to the suspects involved in several shootings over the weekend.
Two women died and eight other people were hurt as a result of five different shootings that happened from Saturday night to Sunday morning.
Kansas City Police confirm three suspects are in custody.
However, all three are tied to a single shooting involving a police standoff.
KCPD officials say the shootings are not related.
The first shooting happened Saturday night near East 39th Street and Chelsea Avenue.
Police took a man to the hospital where he remained in critical condition until he died Monday afternoon.
About 30 minutes later, six people were shot at 18th & Vine.
Police spokesman Sgt. Jake Becchina said they're searching the area for any surveillance video.
Sgt. Becchina also said there was a large crowd in the area and wants anyone who may have captured anything on video to hand it over to police.
Early Sunday morning, officers heard gunshots near the 1300 block of East 89th Street.
A short time later, police received a 911 call from a woman saying she had been shot.
Police found the woman and declared her dead at the scene.
A short time later, another woman was found with a gunshot wound near 107th Street and Greenwood Road.
She died at the scene.
Before the sun came up, police were called to 59th Street and Swope Parkway where gunshots were reported.
There, police got into a standoff and shootout with the suspects.
No officers were injured.
