KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two men told Riverside police Wednesday they were kidnapped over the weekend.
Detectives went to multiple places in Kansas City, Missouri, to investigate the report.
Riverside police said two men from out of town told them they were held in Kansas City after leaving Riverside with the alleged kidnappers. Police later said the reported kidnapping didn't occur in Riverside, so the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department is continuing to investigate.
Officials provided no further information about the incident.
