KANSAS CITY, Mo. – News broke late last week that an ambitious project to connect Kansas City, Columbia and St. Louis in less than 30 minutes is one-step closer to picking Missouri as its launching pad.

In this week’s episode of 41 Files, Lindsay Shively brings everyone up to speed about Hyperloop, a proposal that would use right-of-way along Interstate 70 to construct a high-speed tube that would transport passengers between the three cities faster than a trip to your local grocery store.

The episode starts however with Cat Reid detailing her exclusive interview with Kansas City, Missouri Councilman and Mayoral candidate Quinton Lucas following his arrest last week for operating a vehicle while under the influence in downtown Lawrence, Kansas.

Later, Charlie Keegan brings listeners up to speed on the future of the Katy Trail and the Rock Island Corridor in eastern Jackson County, Missouri.

Finally, Taylor Hemness revisits a story he covered earlier this year with new video provided by a viewer of the immediate aftermath of a bombing and bank robbery in Overland Park, Kansas.
